Quartet

for Clarinet, Violin, Cello, and Piano

An early piece, my Quartet began life as an ostensible homage to Shostakovich. The connections are somewhat vague- though the infamous DSCH motive does make a few brief appearances. It mainly features a somewhat dour Shostakovichian mood filtered through a post-minimalist language. There is some great drama in the process though.
