Entertainment 5

Entertainment 5 is not the fifth piece in a series. It does feature a fugue in the style of famed tango composer Astor Piazzolla, and a quote of Klezmar tune by Yiddish legend Mark Warshawsky which becomes increasingly rambunctious. It is not particularly noticeable, nor does it stand out as particularly klezmar influenced. The tune is called Simkhes-toyre, and features the following chorus:

Oy, oy, oy, oy!
Freylekh, kinder ot azoy!
Rendlekh faln fun ale zek-
Freylekh on an ek!

Oy, oy, oy , oy,
Let’s live it up kids, that’s the way!
Coins are dropping just like rain,
Live it up, don’t quit.
